Collection of sixteen Meissen porcelain figures late 19th/early 20th century
Including "Cupid Forging Heart" (L114) modelled by Heinrich Schwabe ca. 1878; "Cupid bound in Garlands" (R123) modelled by Paul Helmig ca. 1898; "Je les ramène" (F12); lady with floral garland (F67); four putti emblematic of the arts (1684); lady with apples (17); and a series of figures emblematic of the seasons including putti with shovel (C100); two putti with column (H36); three putti with fire (A5); putti with sickle and grapes (2716); putti with sickle and sheaf of wheat (A67); putti with floral basket (F164); putti on ice skates (A71); boy with rose bush (25); boy with grapes and hoe (30); and girl with apple basket and bird (30); all marked to underside with underglaze blue crossed swords mark and incised or impressed numbers.
