Barbedienne AParis", the movement bearing Vincenti Medaille d'Or pastille, the square verde antico marble case with banded edge and bronze anthemion mounts raised on fluted tapering legs; surmounted by a bronze model of Hebe atop Jupiter's Eagle, signed George Bareau (Georges Marie Valentin Bareau, French, 1886-1931), and inscribed F. Barbedienne foundeur; together with a pair of conforming gilt bronze and verde antico marble six-branch seven-light candelabra, well-cast to show flowerheads, anthemion, and scrolls, raised on paw feet; the candelabra fitted and wired for electricity, but not drilled.
