Oval, centrally decorated to show the scene from Gen. 2:19, 20, depicting God with Adam and numerous animals in a garden, the cavetto painted with gilt scrolls, the rim decorated with strapwork and winged cherub masks, the underside centrally enameled to show infant Cupid strumming a lute flanked by two birds, within a strapwork border incorporating fruits, grotesque and putto masks, the underside of the rim showing interlaced scrolls, masks and leaves.
