Brocard Mamluk style gilt and enameled amber glass footed bowl paris, circa 1891

The compressed ovoid bowl form with flaring rim and pedestal foot, the rim and shoulder painted with oval medallions of an eagle and arabesques on a blue or red ground, the body with a banding of blue 'jewel' dots above alternating medallions of arabesque and floral blossoms all against a floral and grape bough painted ground, the foot with an inscription in cream enamel framed by bands of blue "jewel" dots, the underside of basin with painted script signature "Brocard Paris 1891 Exposition de Londres".
