Fine and rare Copeland 'jeweled' porcelain seven-piece presentation tea service after the model presented to queen victoria, circa 1854
Including teapot, lidded sugar bowl, creamer and two cups and saucers, all with raised gilt foliate designs embellished with cream, sky blue and green 'jewels' on a pink ground, within a silk lined, mirrored, tooled and gilt leather box, the top bearing the inscription "Duplicate service of one designed and manufactured by Mr. Alderman Copeland, M.P. expressly for Her Majesty Queen Victoria and presented to the Queen by her Grace the Duchess of Bedford, on her Majesty's birthday May 24, 1854, purchased by Sir Francis Graham Moon, Bart."
