Two Copeland porcelain Black Basalt and Parian Ware baptismal fonts, after the 12th century model at Winchester Cathedral, Hampshire stoke-on-trent, circa 1882
Depicting scenes from the life of St. Nicholas along with lion and bird medallions, the base inscribed "font in the Cathedral of Winchr", both examples impressed "COPELAND" to underside, the parian example bearing the impressed date mark "O82", the basalt example painted with some numbers and letters in red.
