Regency rosewood and gilt bronze mounted desk circa 1820

The rectangular top inset with tooled and gilt leather writing surface and framed by pierced gallery, above three-drawer frieze with lion's mask pulls, supported on sphinx mask-mounted caryatid form square tapering legs, terminating on blocks, the lock stamped CHUBB'S NEW PATENT, St. Paul's CH YD 41603 LONDON.
