Spode "Tumbledown Dick" pattern green and magenta painted partial dessert service circa 1820
Including nine dessert plates, two sauce tureens (one with ladle) and undertrays, two scallop-form bowls and two oval bowls, all transfer-printed, hand-painted, and gilt with a bird perched on a branch of peony blossoms, all marked "3086", the dessert plates impressed "SPODE", the scallop-form bowls impressed "SPODE 31", the others impressed "SPODE 43".
