Fine chryselephantine gilt bronze, depicting Joan of Arc in full armor with her hands chained raised on circular base inscribed "E. Barrias", and "Susse Fres. Edt.", and with Susse freres cache, also inscribed "Vous avez pu m'enchainer vous n'enchainerez jamais la Fortune de France" to edge of base.
