Unique miniature silver half-dime teapot charles fred hering (1871-1941), philadelphia, pa, circa 1900
Purportedly made entirely from a single Seated Liberty half-dime, with working spout, removable lid, and swing handle, the underside retaining the words "Half Dime" featured on the reverse of the source coin, in original satin and velvet lined presentation box; together with an 1860 Seated Liberty half-dime and the custom-made tools devised for the making of the teapot.
