Marble and bronze "Vanishing Race" inkstand charles plein (1870-1920), omaha, ne, first quarter 20th century

The yellow veined, black marble stand with central recess and two pen holders at corners flanking cold painted bronze figure of an Indian brave kneeling beside the inkwell with marble insert, modelled as a boulder topped with a buffalo skull, titled in cast, "The Vanishing Race," signed "Plein Omaha" to verso.
