Lot Description

Two Sioux women's ceremonial hair pipe bone and bead breast plates fort yates, north dakota, mid 20th century

The first, with seven rows of hair pipe bone with coral colored bead dividers and bone and cowrie shell danglers, the neck with velvet sachet; the second, comprised of eight rows of hair pipe bone with blue bead dividers and bone and cowrie fringe, with sachet tied at neck in Air Force handkerchief, both strung with cotton cord.
