Lot Description

Two pairs of Sioux quillwork arm bands and a shellwork neckpiece late 19th century to mid 20th century

The first, with hide backed bands decorated with stepped pattern in red, yellow and purple quill, blue beaded edge and quill wrapped slats with tin cone and feathers; the second, of red, green and yellow quill-wrapped slats with tin cone and feather ornaments.

L(s): 25 in. (longest arm band) and 18 1/2 in. (neckpiece)
