Lot Description

Group of crackle glazed pottery dedham pottery, dedham, ma, 1896-1928

Comprising twelve luncheon plates, one footed bowl, three saucers, and one large mug decorated by Maude Davenport (active 1904-1928), each with thick border of alternating crouching rabbits and vegetable stocks against a cobalt ground; together with a later, similarly decorated plate with hand-written inscription to verso: "To Shipmate Noyes U.S. Naval Academy 1917 From J.M. Robertson Dedham, Mass. 1931."

Diam: 8 1/2 in. (plates) and H: 5 3/4 in. (mug)
