Lot Description

Group of Chinese Export porcelain tablewares second half 18th century and later

Including a teacup and saucer decorated in gilt and grisaille featuring Juno holding a wreath and scepter, seated upon a cloud beside a peacock; a teabowl and saucer bearing pseudo crest of a pair of lovebirds standing under a wreath; an armorial teabowl and saucer decorated in grisaille with the Mackintosh Family crest; and a waste bowl, teabowl and saucer, each painted to show pineapple, plums and grapes; together with three octagonal plates with central floral spray and a group of eagle-decorated tablewares comprising two shallow bowls, one small plate, five saucers, and one teabowl, all with wavy blue, gilt and sepia bands to scalloped rim.
