Items associated with the Capen and Billings families of Massachusetts 18th and 19th century

Including an oval, chip-carved box decorated with flowerheads, banding and the initial "B" enclosed in a coiling snake reserve, incised, "April 19, 1781" on underside; a watchman's rattle branded, "W.R."; a gentleman's folding leather wallet embossed with eagles on urns and landscape with Mt. Vernon; and a powderhorn with handwritten inscription "Samuel Capen's horn 1785."
