Lot Description

George II ebonized bracket clock 18th century and later

Ebonized bell top case, mounted with brass carrying handle and four urn and saucer finials, over glazed and arched door flanked by pierced brass sound frets, opens to gilt brass plate repoussé-worked with scroll and foliate sprigs, the brass dial with Roman numerals centered by moon-phase motion, strike/silent subsidiary dial above, glazed sides and rear door opens to brass, chain fusée movement and two bells.
