French Empire Siena marble and bronze mantle clock early 19th century, dial signed 'bout & montmarte, no. 75'
The engine-turned brass dial with black Roman numerals, surmounted by elder Roman warrior (possibly Tiresius) and above child with helmet, rectangular marble plinth mounted with a trophy of armour and weaponry, the acanthus leaf molded waist and marble undertier terminating in acanthus and scroll feet, the movement stamped 138, L, 6, 4.
