Lot Description

French Empire gilt and patinated bronze clock early 19th century, the case in the manner of feuchère and fossey

Arch-form with acanthus and egg-and-dart molded border, the top centered by a circular cast bronze dial and brass ring with Roman numerals and breguet hands, above a relief of Anacréon and a child, supported on a rectangular plinth and block feet, the brass countwheel strike movement with silk-suspension and single bell, dial signed AUTRAY FILS.
