Painted on one side to show a Pre-Raphaelite betrothel scene, signed "Albert apres ?Capanel", within a border of gilt leaves and scrolls, the reverse with a finely painted cartouche in blue, incorporating a pair of muses flanking the monogram MAC, also signed in gilt "Duvelleroy London", the dark abalone guards engraved in gilt to show foliate scrolls, in original silk lined leather case.
