Lot Description

Napoleon III gilt bronze and red marble mantle clock circa 1875, houderine, paris, the movement by japy feres

The circular red marble dial with applied Roman numerals, the red marble breakfront case with bold gilt bronze volutes at the sides, surmounted by a gilt bronze figure of a partially nude maiden signed M. Dumaige 1874, and numbered 25237, the whole raised on paw feet.
