Lot Description

Pair of gilt metal mounted Sevres style porcelain hand-painted cobalt ground jeweled enamel covered urns 19th century

The domed cover with bud finial over long neck painted to show an armorial shield incorporating three fleur-de-lis surmounted by a crown, surrounded by raised translucent red enamel dots, mounted with twin double-scroll handles terminating in flowerheads, the body painted with a classical scene on one side and a trophy on the other, within white raised dots, raised on circular socle on square base.
