Seven French silver wine tasters with serpent form ring handles 18th century
Including two Provincial wine tasters, Lyon, 1780s, one bowl engraved "J. Grataloup des Deni," the other engraved "Etienne Garde d(e) Verane, 1783," charge marks for 1780-89; a wine taster with convex fluted bowl, maker's mark AGH surmounted by a crown struck three times; a wine taster engraved "F. Chouteau," maker's mark IR with pellet between, crown above, and star below struck five times; a wine taster engraved "V. de Lafaye de Golange la V," maker's mark rubbed; and two wine tasters of similar design, hallmarks rubbed.
