The fluted oval body with scrolling flower, leaf, and shell rim and two reeded acanthus bracket handles, all raised on four scroll and acanthus feet, surmounted by fluted and domed lid with twisted acanthus handle, the body engraved with family crest, the lid with Bryn Mawr Horse Show Association medallion above inscription: "Woodcrest Challenge Trophy presented by Mrs. John T. Dorrance, Light Weight Hunter Championship of the Bryn Mawr Horse Show Association" and also inscribed with list of winners 1937-1940; 1946, and with competition rules.
