Faint hand-written inscription in ink on cotton hoist, "Louisiana Guard Battery/ 19th a.c. Wm. C. Ahe....." the canton comprised of blue and red wool bunting, cotton twill tape and thirteen white 5-pointed stars appliqued by hand, field of white wool, mounted and framed.
