In the 18th century style, with a large baluster-form quill pen holder with swing handle centering two conforming smaller pots for ink and blotting sand respectively, fitted upon oval stand with shell and scroll border, all raised on four scroll feet, the underside inscribed, "Replica of inkstand used at the signing of the Declaration of Independence of America from Rodman Wanamaker Philadelphia April 26th 1927."
