Lot Description
Chinese rectangular covered bronze censer, fang ding qing or earlier
The censer heavily cast standing on four cylindrical legs, applied on the rim with two upright lug handles, the body and edges with additional flanges, cast in shallow relief with a pair of stylised taotie motifs on either side, surmounted by a hardwood cover with a foliate white jade finial and supported on hardwood stand.
