Collection George III and Victorian silver vinaigrettes
Various forms with gilt-washed interiors, the grilles pierced and engraved with scrolling floral and foliate designs, one depicting a musical instrument, five with Birmingham marks including John Shaw, 1808-9; Thomas Shaw, 1835-36; Francis Clark, 1836-37; Edward Smith, 1850-51; Alfred Taylor, 1853-54; and one with London marks for 1805-6, maker's mark ID. Together with a silver-mounted polished agate vinaigrette, unmarked. (7).
