Fine pair Regency silver covered entrée dishes benjamin smith ii, london, 1818-19
Rectangular form, the cover repoussé-worked, with heavily embossed floral and foliate handle, the base with applied cast rim comprising a shell and scroll border. One side of the cover bearing a triple crest of a dexter arm holding a spear, a wyvern, and an eagle displayed with two heads; the opposite side engraved with a coat-of-arms.
