Pair George III silver salts london, 1808-9, probably peter & william bateman
Cauldron form, the legs with shell-capped knees terminating in hoof feet. Engraved with the Ball family crest of a demi-lion rampant semée of estoiles holding a globe and issuing from a cloud. Maker's mark rubbed.
