Lot Description
Two Continental silver gilt salts
The first a Russian cloisonné enameled salt of squat form raised on three ball feet, the body with turquoise circular border flanking a central band of pale blue arabesques and red and cobalt floral blossoms, possibly Syemyen Kazakov, assay master Lev Oleks, Moscow, 1894; the other a Latvian salt with gilt-washed interior, hexagonal design and beaded border to rim.
