George V silver flatware service crichton brothers, london, 1920-21
Comprising twenty-three luncheon forks, seventeen teaspoons, twelve each dinner forks, place spoons, soup spoons, and hollow-handle dinner and luncheon knives, eleven each salad forks, ice cream forks, and hollow-handle fruit and place knives with sterling blades, ten each tablespoons and demitasse spoons, three piece carving set, two ladles, salad set, and a pair of tongs, the terminals with shell motif, the stems with bell-flower pendant. Most with the monogram "VWK" surmounted by a crown on the reverse of each terminal; a few pieces with later date letters for 1928-29/29-30. (172).
