Lot Description

Chippendale carved walnut dressing table philadelphia, pa, circa 1770

Rectangular top with lip molded edge and rounded front corners above a wide drawer and three varisized small drawers, all lip molded, flanked by fluted chamfered corners, rosette carved apron centering a large shell, on acanthus leaf and rosette cabriole legs terminating in vigorous claw and ball feet. Old bat wing brasses probably original to the piece.

H: 29 in. W: 32 1/2 in. D: 19 7/8 in.
