Lot Description

TWO WORKSMARCEL DUCHAMP (FRENCH 1887-1968) "ROTORELIEF" (DISC NO. 7-8)

Conceived in 1935, initialed in ink 'MD,' Schwarz calls for the unsigned edition of 500 (the total edition was 1755 comprised of 500, 1,000, 100, 5 and 150 published in 1938, 1953, 1959, 1963 and 1965 respectively), color offset lithographs adhered, as issued, to both sides of a cardboard disc.
