Very fine pair of Japanese imari porcelain covered vases the porcelain circa 1725, the mounts probably 19th century
Hexagonal baluster form, the domed covers with finials in the form of a mother and child with a cat, the bodies painted to show flowers, scrolls, and foliate forms, the laurel-cast gilt bronze square bases raised on paw feet.
