Diamond, enamel and rose quartz 'pendulette de voyage', Cartier france, ca. 1909
Petite carved rose quartz clock displaying white enamel dial, signed by the maker, London and Paris, rose cut diamond surround. White and green enamel foliate band at top and bottom, white enamel crown at side. Mechanical movement, accompanied by the original box. Note: For a similar example please see 'Cartier and America', Chapman, Martin, page 56 'Cube Clock' ca. 1908. "The cube clock was one of Cartier's most successful models in the Faberge style".
