Lot Description

Sevres style turquoise ground porcelain gilt bronze mounted cache pot 19th century

Cylindrical form with two painted reserves, one a floral bouquet, the other figures in eighteenth century dress in a landscape, both within gilt scroll borders, the mounts composed of lion masks to the sides, bead edge around the rim, and conforming base raised on acanthus scroll feet. Blue interlaced mark to underside.
