Chippendale walnut chest-on-chest philadelphia, pa, circa 1775
Vigorous double scrolled pediment terminating in turned rosettes, center finial with star inlay benearth, top of case with dentil molding and deep cove molding, three small above four graduated wide lip molded drawers flanked by quarter round fluted corners, base with two graduated wide lip modled drawers flanked by quarter round fluted corners, raised on ogival bracket feet. Large, pierced batwing brasses of a later date.
