Group of silhouettes and a miniature portrait philadelphia, pa, 19th and 20th century
The silhouettes include members of the Whelen and Frazer families, a cut-out silhouette of Israel Whelen (1783-1827) as a boy, a photograph of a silhouette of Whelen as a young man, a cut-out silhouette of Israel Whelen Sr. (b.1750), a cut-out silhouette of John Fries Frazer, (1812-1872, Assistant Provost of University of Pennsylvania), a printed silhouette of Mary Taylor Frazer (1745-1830 and Revolutionary War heroine) and a miniature portrait of James Nevins, (1790-1866) attributed to George Saunders.
