Fine and Large KPM porcelain plaque late 19th century, die jagd nach dem gluck, after the painting by r. f. henneburg
Rectangular form, finely painted to show a mounted rider emblematic of Avarice, galloping across a bridge over a chasm to chase gold coins being thrown by a semi-nude maiden emblematic of Fortune, as Death on a black horse follows closely behind, a view of a castle in the background at the left, signed 'Wagner' lower right, impressed KPM and sceptre marks verso, within molded wooden frame.
