Meissen porcelain figural clock garniture 19th century
The white enameled dial with roman numerals within a cartouche shaped surround, surmounted by a Selene upon an orb, and above the winged old man, Chronos, on a naturalistic base issuing two branch form candlearms; each figural garniture with central standard supporting three detachable candlearms, one modeled as Father Time, and a young boy, the other as a Bacchic youth and infant, both raised on naturalistic bases. Blue underglazed crossed swords marks, impressed, incised, and iron red marks to bases.
