Lot Description

French gilt bronze and enameled porcelain mounted carriage clock late 19th century

The rectangular case with three-quarter corinthian columns at corners, one side painted to show a riverside scene, signed in monogram "LS", and bearing the gilt painted dial with black Roman numerals, the flanking two sides painted to show classical maidens amongst flowers, raised on bracket feet.
