Lot Description

Two continental porcelain urns late 19th/early 20th century

One Meissen of baluster form, the pink and white glazes with gilt highlights, the handles formed each as a pair of coiled snakes, on a fluted pedestal base, underglaze blue crossed swords and incised marks to underside. The other a German porcelain urn, decorated in gilt on a blue ground, the handles terminating in satyr masks, on a square plinth base.

H: 14 in., or smaller.
