Pair of Victorian painted porcelain plaques late 19th century
One depicting a seated woman in a red hat cleaning dishes, initialed "B.S." in the lower left; the other plaque depicting a seated gypsy woman with a goat, initialed "B.S." in the lower right; both in hand-carved giltwood frames with tags on verso that read "Established 1881, E. TRAVIS, Practical Frame Maker & Gilder...284 Kensington, nr. fairfield, Liverpool."
