Group of woolworked samplers and pictures continental, 19th century
The first, a small sampler worked with alphabet and pictorial panel dated 1814, the second, a small sampler worked with alphabet, pious verse and inscription, "M.A. Willison Aged 10 years," the third, a sampler worked entirely with bands of various borders, the fourth, a very large sampler worked entirely with rows of alphabet, the fifth, a small picture of a boy with top hat and dog inscribed, "Harry McWhaire Born March of 1842," and the sixth, a picture with young boy and girl in pastoral lndscape, together with a wool, silk and beaded textile, all framed.
