Engraved Map with Outline Color & Color Cartouche. Sayer, Robert. "A Map of South America Containing Tierra-Firma, Guayana, New Granada, Amazonia, Brasil, Peru, Paraguay, Chaco, Tucuman, Chili and Patagonia. From Mr. D'Anville with Several Improvements and Additions, and The Newest Discoveries." London, 1775. Two sheets, each 20 x 46 1/2 inches (508 x 1180 mm). Scattered light foxing on sheet representing the Northern part of South America, Birminham Library ink stamp on that portion, Southern portion sheet generally clean & crisp, occasional minor creasing. Original outline color, modern color added to cartouche. Each of the two sections framed separately.
