Approx. 10 x 13 1/2 inches (254 x 340 mm), image approx. 5 x 9 1/2 inches (127 x 240 mm). Titled in pencil & with publisher's stamp. Signed in ink by the artist. Clean & attractive. * "110th Pa. Reg. at Falmouth." Approx. 9 1/2 x 15 inches (240 x 380 mm). Signed & titled by the artist. With artist's annotations & publisher's numerical stamp outside image. Clean & attractive. Both in modern archival frames. Both drawings were published in The Century Magazine, 1888, reproduced in The American Heritage Century Collection of Civil War Art, New York, 1974. A copy of The American Heritage Century Collection of Civil War Art is included in this lot, along with "The Century Collection of Civil War Art. Parts I & II," Christie's East, May 27, 1988, original auction catalogues, in which the above drawings were offered.
