Single shot smoothbore matchlock featuring a rear aperture sight below a notch and twin copper supports for front sight. The barrel is secured by two metal barrel bands and three leather bands. Four additional metal bands adorn the forend, each one displays some light punch dot embellishments following geometric patterns. The spaces between the bands are mounted with sunburst shaped copper discs set between triangular patterns of iron tacks. The butt is heavily tacked with further metal inlaid over the wrist, comb, and toe. The tacks used to secure embellishments surrounding the tickler remain, but the metal work has broken off this portion of the firearm. The touch hole retains an engraved folding cover.
