Sunburst patterns appear on the screws. The left and right barrel both show Imperial German smokeless powder proof markings, with further German markings appearing on the water tables and frame. Both barrels are marked FLUSSSTAHL KRUPP ESSEN. The initials MM appear on the rear left barrel, and AK on the barrel flats and water tables.
