Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action First Model Revolver

.44 Russian. 4" ribbed barrel. SN: 51058 (Mfg. ca1898). Nickel finish, blued triggerguard and trigger, color casehardened hammer, factory mother of pearl grips with Smith & Wesson medallions. Double action top break simultaneous extraction revolver with fluted six-chambered cylinder, notch rear sight integral in barrel catch and pinned round front sight. Two line barrel address and patent markings ending with 1880 date. Matching serial numbers on butt, on rear face of cylinder and under barrel catch. Left side of barrel with +44 S&W CTG+ marking.
